91 SS oil cooler pics

Post by Legacy777 »

Anyone have pics or could get me pics of the oil cooler for the 91 SS. I'd like pics of where the line hooks up to the water pump.

I'm assuming the 91 SS water pump has a line on it for the oil cooler, but I'd just like to verify where the port is, and that it will work with what I'm getting from the forester.

I'm curious too how the WRX one differs....

TIA
Josh

gah, if you'd had asked two days ago I could've taken pics of both off the engine. I'll see what I can do though.

Also what I had meant to say in the other thread was that the forester hardpipe isnt setup correctly for a turbo engine, it runs right into the crosspipe on the exhaust. At least on this engine anyway.

being a snowbelt car plus all the exhaust heat really took it's toll on the oil pan i think, but the rest of the engine is good hopefully. Has anyone ever seen it this bad on their 91?

i'll probably just patch it up with duct tape :)

edit: smiley face, lol

Patch the oil pan with duct tape? I wouldn't trust my engine to duct tape. I'd replace the pan.

Heh heh, possibly Impregacy didn't put a smiley face on the end of his sentence to let us know he was j/k? :D At least, I hope so.
