Has anyone tried the turbonator?
I keep seeing and hearing about this little gadget and it sounds too good to be true....so it probably is. Just thought I would ask if anyone has any experience with this "turbonator" or if anyone believes this would work?
92 SS--up and running finally!!

I just hire hookers to hang out under the hood and blow into the intake. It's tough finding ones that will play along. Usually have to settle for crack whores as they don't care as long as you pay.

the turbonator is not even a fan, its just a stamped piece of metal that looks like a fan blade, to induce spin on the air coming through.
Also known as a restriction.
I read somewhere that that type of air turbulence can fool some MAF's, thereby really screwing things up.

The e-Ram is that electric-fan supercharger thingy. Turbonator is some kind of intake accelerator or something with no moving parts.
If you're going to deal in such small gains, you might as well just wire in a variable resistor that allows you to control what the MAF sensor is sending.
If the stupid thing weren't so expensive (read: waste of money), I'd buy one and put it on just to test it. But $70 is a lot to put on something that doesn't seem to really benefit. The website can say whatever it wants, but I'm only gonna believe dyno results from my own car with an install I did myself.

There's been several threads about this. One of which I extol the negative benefits of this product.
