^^ Where I used to goto daycare, the indians across the street had one, and it was lifted, like 3", swamps and all! --and this was the early 90s! I've seen it once or twice since then, so I'm not completely sure it runs anymore.. :(
But it was quite the interesting sight!

I've always wanted to take one and turn it into a Mud Bogger! If it gets stuck in the mud, get out walk to town and buy another one! It would be cheaper then the Tow.

Eagle wagon: what a terrible engine, though. I knew a girl who had one of those, and she said the engine was having problems. I looked and there were like 12 oil leaks, from all over.

That engine was designed in 1964 (!)

too bad theyre rarer than hens teeth these days, in part due to practices like you described I'm sure.
as for the engine, I think they came with 258's, 304's, and 360's. maybe a diesel too Im not sure.
