Install was fine and dandy until I went to close the hood
. Fortunately I was skepticle of fitment so I closed the hood slowly... The bar hit the hood skelleton (supports) inbound and the actual hood skin on the outbound portions.I hammered the supports into submission and that solved that, but I had to take about 3/16" off of the high spots of the cusco plates with a die grinder (blended the radius so it looks good/functions well, and I'll touch it up with some paint soon). I will try to post pics (I took some but am not real versed in attachments).
Anyhow, the cusco piece is Very nice with ~1/8"+ (didn't measure)steel uprights and plate bottom, which is also designed well to resist deformation (in-line with forces, no cantilevered memebers as I've seen with some of the cheapo ebay models)
no driving impressions yet - just a snowy commute this AM - but it must shore up this flexy BF chassis. I looks tits too
