ABS diagnostics

Post by Slick1100 »

Yesterday I had my struts looked at (all bad in less than a years time. ) and immediately afterwards started getting the ABS light intermittently. It was raining heavily when I left the shop the first time and I went through some deep puddles before I noticed the light. I took it right back to the shop, and everything looked fine. The sensors were all secure. The light comes on and stays on until I turn off the car. It doesn't come on at the same time every time, and sometimes doesn't come on at all. Is there any way of pulling the codes from the ABS computer, or do I have to take it to the dealer? My shop manual isn't helpful at all on the subject.
