'Squeeking' sound and restriction when reversing

Post by Wouter1973 »

Hi, my '92 N/A Legacy 2.0 GL makes a squeeking sound when cold, sounds like it's coming from the clutch. With the gear in 2nd, and letting come up the clutch pedal the sound is there until I don't have my foot on the clutch pedal anymore. The clutch is not slipping, and after I've driven for about 5 minutes there's no squeeking sound anymore. so where comes this sound from?

Something else:
When driving in reverse, in a sharp turn the car seems to have a lot of restriction. After I stop pushing the gaspedal the car almost immediately stops. Seems like this restriction is caused at the front wheels, but I'm not sure. Something to be worried about?

Don;t know if this makes any difference, but my Legacy is a FWD.
