where to buy a short pipe

Post by bman »

I need to replace the stock muffler with a new one. Most of the people here like the Magnaflow for a balance between performance and price. Since there is no bolt-on applictation, I was thinking that I could buy the muffler itself and the short pipe going from the end of the mid-pipe to the (new) muffler. Anyone know if the short pipe is available is this just a "pipe dream"? 8)

Thanks,
Brian

Thanks TAWA,

I was thinking more mail-order. Hoping to find one with the right bracket on the flange.

you can get a pretty new wrx muff for cheap, like $20, just take the wrx axleback to local shop and have them "make it fit", they'll need to add about 1-1.5" and bend a hanger. the hangers are close. anything else will need new hangers.

or yeah, LOCAL SHOP.
