Outback Motorsports Fuel Lines

Post by bmxpunk »

So I called these guys today to order their adapter for the stock FPR so I could do the parrallel fuel mod. The guy was tekling me that what I want to do won't work and I cant move the stock FPR any where but have to keep it where it is at. I think he he full of crap. Anyone have any other suggestions on how I can make this work? I read some one used two right hand fuel rails so they could use two FPRs. I know there is a way to do it with only one FPR, there has to be.

I think it depends on which FPR you are using. If you're using an aftermarket one that you can mount anywhere then yes it's possible with some T'ing, or if it has two inlets then that's possible as well. If you are using the stock FPR though, that's not possible without a lot of custom work.

What are the outback motorsports fuel lines?

Here's what I'm doing. I'm using two driver's side fuel rails, taking a set of fuel lines, cutting the flanged side off that fits the normal lines, then fitting hosing up to the lines, put a T in the middle, and then run both those lines to a fpr. I believe Jason posted a fpr that had two outlets....or maybe it was a filter. Either way, I'll be using an aftermarket fpr.

Wow that would work. Does anyone have a driverside fuel Rail that they want to sell? I think I may have the side feeds on my 95 Impreza that I could steal the fuel rail off of. (would like to sell the motor but I think it is too beat. )

Wow josh, I remember asking you questions on the USMB when I had my GL Wagon and when I first got my impreza.

I've snatched up another set of 92 rails & turbo leg rails for this very purpose ;)
