I got on the trail about noon on wed., it started hailing on me but I put on my rain gear and took off. It got windy as hell to say the least and I was up on the ridge but thursday during the day turned out to be beautiful. I got to lay out on the rocks a little and sun and enjoy the view, later it started raining again, not hard but enough to get you wet. So I retired back to my camp, about 10 min. from the view where I just made a tiny fire under a nice rock outcropping and waited out the rain while eating dinner. The stars came out finally and I saw the second satellite of the trip, saw one wed. Today it rained/drizzled on me until I got to my car, around 1ish. I was basically just up in the clouds so it wasn't so much rain as just wet air. I saw one person drive by as I was getting my pack on to leave wed. and that's the only person I saw the whole time. It was absolutely great. For those few hours when the sun was shinning down on me on the rocks, life was perfect. There wasn't a single artificial sound to be heard but the occasional jet in the skies.
