Looking into my car all you see is an upgraded Alpine headunit. What you dont see is my 12 inch sub, 2 amps, all the fuse boxes or the upgraded 6.5" infinity kappa woofers.

SVC first off. 1.58 cubic feet to be exact on the volume. I made the box myself with the help of my friend tet. its all one box for the 1 sub. the amps are mounted on the face. If you follow the link, you will see that there is a pic from behind the box. its a trapazoid with like a 3 to 5 inch top is all. if you look at the sub again, it is mounted on a square that sticks out. It is a spacer because the box was to shallow for the depth of the speaker. I promise for one sub and only 160 watts, it hits nice and tight. In fact, it is just enough to have the sound of a huge system without the rattle of all those civics with no dynamat around my town. (not hating on civics btw -- just the specific owners here)magicmike wrote:I'm confused. Is that sub "using" all that volume of that box? Is that box split in the middle for 2 subs and you just have the other side covered by the amps? I hope that is the case as one 12 inch sub would sound like ass in aprox. 3 cubic ft which is what a prefab box is for 2 12's. Depending on what jl sub that is you could go as low as 1cu ft and it would really pound hard and tight. if its a svc you should keep it between 1.2 to 1.5, if its dvc you could/should do half the volume.
oh just in case svc=single voice coil, dvc= double voice coil
oh yes, does look nice by the way
