You should plumb the aftermarket oil cooler inline first as fluid leaves the transmission. Then run the output of the aftermarket cooler into the inlet of the cooler on the radiator, and then back out to the transmission.

This will help raise the temps back up if the fluid gets cooled too much.

ACTUALLY, does your car go into POWER mode? I can get super fast launches with that function (ie. breaking free slightly). All you do is wait until the proper moment and then quickly tap your accelerator down about 1/3 of the way. You can let off it but you still have to have some throttle, obviously, and then let it fly. I've had more than one person in my car say things like "Shit, no fu&*ing way! This is a Subaru?" So I don't even want to hear crap about 5mt blah blah. If I had a stock 5mt turbo beside me and our cars were otherwise set the same way I could take it, no problem. Oh, and if it's a short jaunt, stay in third. That's my .02. It's not good for your tranny though.
