I just bought a control unit on ebay

it looks different than mine.
Mine is the green plastic box pn #88013AA060
auction said it fit 90-94 Legacy.
I dont have the pn for it yet, heres a pic

Mine (from a '91) is a p/n 88013AA041.

Mine is metal, too.

Don't now if that helps any.....

remind me tomorrow.....I'll look in the parts book, and see if the different controllers have been superceeded by the newer part #'s.

I'd think they were compatible/intechangeable. I only replaced the driver's side belt/rail assembly all the way down to the solenoids, as well as a computer from a 91 L. All belts work flawlessly..

Legacy777- checking P/n's might help me sleep better ;)

I took my controller apart hoping to find an ez fix, like broken solder but no luck. I'm just not good enuff w/ electronics to figure out whats wrong.

What you bought on ebay is the p/b controller for the station wagons. Since you have a sedan, the controller is in a different box.

I don't know if the internals are the same.....they probably are.....but it won't mount up the same as the sedan ones.
