PLease help with FWD conversion !!!
HI guys. I need to know which aluminum flywheel/clutch/pressure plate will work with my cable actuated FWD 5mt. I would also like to install a LSD too. Thanks.
I wouldn't recommend using an aluminum flywheel. Any flywheel meant for a n/a 2.5 RS or whatever will work. Same goes for the clutch.
As for LSD.....the diff should be the same as the MT AWD front diff, so any aftermarket LSD front diff meant for the AWD's should work.

Hey josh thanks for the quick response. I meant lightened flywheel dont know why I said aluminum. so all I need is a 2.5 RS clutch kit and flywheel? Would that be compatible with the cable actuator on my 2wd 5mt? Is the 2.5 RS stuff cable or hydraulic? Im ready to buy these parts so i need to be sure when i order them. Please let me know and thanks for the help.

Yes, all you need is the 2.5 clutch kit and flywheel.
All the push type clutches are compatible, whether they are cable or hydraulic.
The only thing you'll probably find is that the clutch pedal effort is going to be stiffer.

I hope you have all the proper tools to swap a front diff correctly. It's not simply an open and drop in thing, there are a LOT of things you need to do in order for it to all go on.
