Knocking noise in front end

I have some sort of knocking going on in the front end of my 91 ej22t. It only happens when I take off or stoping or slowing. It sound like 2-3 knocks when I take of like it is stretching the suspension and 2-3 knocks when I slow down when the suspension is colapasing. I have looked at the sway bar and shocks and everything seems normal. But really what is normal?

Sounds like a worn antiroll bar bushing. Check to see if the endlinks look beat up and deteriorated.
