if you want to see some pics in action you can visit www.kinrossspeedway.com and check out some of the 2005 pictures. the car is # 81 and is red and white. you can also check out stats for each race night.

And the E is what is known as designation of fuel delivery. It stands for a SOHC MPFI non-turbo charged engine...[/quote]So all EJ2.2 non turbo blocks are open deck blocks?

Correct, the EJ2.2 NA is an open deck block.

looks like fun.

is there a reason you and #87 are painted the same?

yes # 87 is my brother and he is racing a 91 honda accord but i can pass him every time. so far anyway and i'm qualifying about half a second faster then he is. we are both very competitive so it keeps it interesting. I'm still trying to look for a ej25 block just want to get the correct one (short block like matt said) and that is why i was just asking if their was a difference between the DOHC and the SOHC 2.5l. if i can't find one i'll still like to get the delta cams like matt said. getting faster everytime

off topic just wondering if anyone has ever used tire soak and if so does it work?
thanks for all of your info everybody.
