Hey all,

I'm taking my turbo out on the dirt for the first time on Sunday. Some of you Mid-Atlantic guys should get out there too. It's in Orange, VA.

Orange VA! Damn, that's out in the middle of nowhere. Believe it or not I've spent time in Orange. My buddy Ira lived down there for a couple years back in the mid to late 90's.

That's too far a drive for me, good luck though!

Man, if you had tried it once then you would be willing to drive that far  I've gone to Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, and 3 different places in PA to get my car sideways. No one said I was normal, though.

Philly region of SCCA did one RallyCross closer to you at the GrandView Speedway. If they ever get around to doing it again, I will try to remember to post here.

Right on, definitely do that.

I've thought about going to Rausch Park near Harrisburg PA but I heard their track is really rough and I don't want to chance ruining my exhaust and stuff.

Is the Philly region events on a smooth track?

man I'd love to go, but 240+ miles before 8 is a lot

however post this stuff up when there is stuff going on in PA and I'll try to show, even if it's rough and deadly I'm game

Rauschcreek was a little rough. Anyways - I haven't heard about anything going on there in forever.

Philly Region SCCA did it on a dirt track oval that was perfectly smooth and groomed. Seriously, it was probably gentler to your car than autocrossing. And in case you're wondering, we didn't just drive in circles. They had a nice variety of hairpins and slaloms both up on the banked oval and down in the infield. The approach to the finish line was a high speed sweeper around one whole half of the banked oval. Man I hope they get their act in gear and do it again!
