Head unit illumination

Does anyone have their head unit illumination (one wire) hooked up?

The suby has two wires for illumination +ve and -ve.

How would you hook it up?

One of them is for the rheostat.. which would be the dimmer dealie..

Alright, tried my headunit to the +ve illum wire and it doesn't dim when i put the headlights on, I'll give the other one ago in a few days.
