Which clutch should I buy? Brand/style?

Post by douglas vincent »

So....

Its for a 1990 2.2 which will be pushing about 200 ft. Stock clutch cant handle it. I can get the Exedy from Rallitek for $379.

I would L:OVE to spend less than $400.

Any suggesttions? Especially on where to buy!

Well, I ended up keeping the pressure plate but bought a Kennedy brand 6 puck carbonic disc for $97.

Just so you know, most organic stage clutches are really OEM discs. My Exedy stage1, Matt's Spec Stage1, and the OEM WRX all share the same DK clutch disc, with varying pressureplates.

I will probably keep this pressure plate and go with a 6 puck next. Fuck street manners.

I have an exedy 6 puck. It took some getting used to but I love it now. It was definately rough in stop and go traffic, but once your moving it a dream.
