Is it broken?
Here's the deal on the SS I bought, the guy told me that he blew out a tire and couldnt afford to fix it, so he drove around on the spare for a while (spare was on the rear). He said the rear end started making noises and heating up and eventually got really rough and started smoking even. Now he doesnt know anything about cars, so he asks a buddy who tells him to just pull the driveshafts out, so thats what he did. The car has no rear driveshaft or axles. Now my question is, is the center diff damaged as well? If no, then I should be able to buy a new rear end, driveshaft and a couple of axles and be good to go. This is a 91 5MT BTW.
