well, the thing about it is not so much it's hilariousness, but it's anti-hilariousness... what with global warming, war, famine, poverty, death, disease, and numerous other things, it's easy for the world's citizens to see the darker side of things, rather than the humerous side that others prefer to occupy.
maybe the reason the world is funny is because stewie from family guy tried to assasinate the guy from mr. roger's neighborhood...
or maybe it's the legacy sedan I saw today with plastic wal-mart spinner hubcaps...
it might be the fact that there's an alley in portland where things fall up if the dice are loaded, or possibly that deer that my brother's girlfriend hit with her brand new car the day she got it...
who the #$(% knows? enjoy it while it lasts.

Exactly... I find that if I don't look for the humor in every situation, I end up frustrated, angry, depressed, what have you. Family Guy and American Dad definately help keep things light.
I also find it extremely amusing when I see someone that thought it'd be a good idea to put spinner hubcaps on. Especially so when they lost one, or only did the front two wheels, or something super-ghetto like that. Oh, with the big adjustable cardboard-and-duct-tape Superbird-style useless wing. Masking tape racing stripes, and Type R coffee cans are good too.
There's even a Civic hatchback around town here that has the orange/white classic Hemi 'Cuda paint job. I can't help but laugh my ass off whenever I encounter him...

WORD! amazing album.creel wrote:I was quoting "Pigs" by Pink Floyd. Well, kind of...it actually says 'you're' instead of 'it'. However you slice it, the "Animals" album is an excellent reference to what this thread is about, good album.
as far as the original post, I hate alcohol, so yea... I've given it multiple tries, but I just can't see the appeal.
But yes, the world really can be quite funny.

My girl's got a big mouth
With which she blabbers a lot
She laughs at most everything
Whether it's funny or not
And if you see her
Tell her it's over now
I want a girl who will laugh for no one else
When I'm away she puts her makeup on the shelf
When I'm away she never leaves the house
I want a girl who laughs for no one else
weezer song.
