What a U-Pull-It score!

Post by douglas vincent »

Two visors
Two NEW Turbo Legacy Rotors
Two Turbo Legacy front brake assemblies
NEW brake pads
One AC radiator (for my intercooler)

And................

Turbo block and heads, including!!!! turbo and exhaust manifold.

No downpipe or intake manifold though....

But the whole shebang cost me.....

$189!

There is still the turbo crossmember, and the hood. About everything else is gone. Its at the Foster road U-Pull-It in Portland

Your gonna need a set of wheels to fit those brakes though mang.
Your also gonna need to buy my 2.5 heads, which just happen to come with a manifold. :P

I am keeping the block, but the turbo, heads, exhaust and uppipe are all going to go on Ebay as soon as I get pictures. Got to pay for a Perfect Power somehow!

As for the parts. Wow. We are talking GREAT SHAPE. The wagon had just had new brakes installed maybe 100 or less miles before the Auto tranny locked up and the torque converter sheared at the crank. Even the oil had just been changed!

The heads look fantastic, and the bores are in about 95% perfect shape. There is ONE scratch you can feel on One of the bores. The pistons themselves are perfect.

While I am no turbo expert, this turbo is also in great shape, with NO play and the impeller fins are perfect.

And wow are the exhaust parts heavy. Cast iron versus NA manifold makes a huge difference in weight.
