Buying a used Legacy, what watch out for

Post by Splinter »

I feel a little awkward asking since, since the fellow Im most likely buying from is on this board and will read this

Nonetheless, even assuming he's being 100% honest with me (and I believe he is) he may have missed something accidently.

When I go down to check it out and buy it, what should I look out for before I hand over the cash?

Its not a problem Splinter (I'm the seller), its a good question, and you'll get good advice here. Some people on here saw the car at WCSS7 and I would expect them to be honest as well. I want you to be completely confident with the transaction, I really wish you could come see the car drive it around some then think on it a day or too, but with the distance you coming that would be difficult. Maybe there is someone close to me that could check it out for you and give you and independent report, I'd be happy to do it.

I can't help you in the manner you're hoping for, but I can offer my two cents..

through passive interaction with All_talk on this message board and at least one other, he seems to be a very stand up, knowledgeable guy, who knows his subarus pretty well.

this is in no way a promise or 100% guarantee that things will go the way you wish them to, but we can all only hope
