Post by bmxpunk »

Ok so my drivers side rear hub mount thingy ( the part that the strut bolts to as well as the lateral and trailing arm) And it is the same as the one from my drum brakes, so I am going to swap over the my old one. Hw do I go about getting the spindle out of the bearings so I can swap the backing plates? I did a search and have a (worthless)chiltons. Maybe I am in too much of a hurry but I need help!!!!! :?:

The hub must be pulled out with a puller, then the backing plate must be pressed off the spindle with a press.

I got the 4 bolts out and the backing plate came off no problem. So can I just go to autozone and get a hub puller????? Then do the hubs need pressed back in??? I assume so
