Post by shemoves »

Anyone know of any parts that will bolt up from an '05 STi to a '94 legacy turbo?

I'm putting the brakes on this thread. I want to know what and why "shemoves" is thinking about before asking such a general question. Lets keep this one on topic.

I think a better question is what do you want to bolt up?

I'm almost sure both the wing and hood scoop will bolt right on to the roof.

Just be careful when removing them. This is the best way to remove them if you plan on reusing it:

are the gloves JDM? honetly though, i've got an sti and im buying a '94 ss off a friend and was just curious what i might be able to swap over. the springs aren't a bad idea, but i want to be able to use the car for driving in the snow (don't wanna lower it too much).

Almost everything swaps over.

Why don't you just say 'i have STi takeoff part X. Can i put it on my legacy' :?:

Um, Id swap over the motor, wiring harness from the ECU foreward, ECU, fuel pump control unit, transmission/linkage, DCCV, subframe, A arms, front knuckles/ brakes, wheels, driveshaft/s, rear sub member/diff, dash, cluster, center console, seats, and pedals. Oh and maybe the steering wheel.

Will the stock struts and turbo from an '05 STi bolt up to a '94 ss?

Struts will not. Check my thread about swapping STi suspension into my Legacy in the Suspension Forum.

Why would you want to take perfectly good stuff off an STi and stick it on an SS?

I think it's only going on the Legacy when it gets upgraded on the Impreza.

That makes sense... Sounded to me like the STi was being used as a very expensive parts car.

STi would get coilovers :D and a GT30r. This is all way in the future, hypothetical stuff.

Those seats are badass, yes, they bolt RIGHT in. . . on a sedan. The wagons don't take too well.

They're comfy, too. Best bolstering in the wrx lineup.
