Would this fit.... part deux

Post by l4gacy »

Well upon further planning of my ride, I thinking these rims would better suit, and make the paint job that I am going to get.

Since it doesn't list the bolt patterns and offsets available, there is absolutely no way of knowing without asking the company. I think with a wheel that wide, you can go down to a +45mm offset. The tires would have to be something like 215/35s, which has a really thin sidewall, and they still might rub. Also, those wanli tires listed on there are probably crap.

You've been talking about getting wheels for like 8 months now. Do what many of us have done and buy some used wheels off another Subaru, instead of buying some shitty, flashy wheels that probably won't fit well. I spent $200 for 16" WRX wheels, which fit perfectly, are light, strong, and had plenty of tire left. If you want something else and are willing to spend money to get good wheels that fit, check out Prodrive, SSR, Volk, and OZ racing.

Eh. The wheels are better than the last set. I think they'd look okay on a black car with chrome trim. They probably won't look great on a 93 Legacy, though.

My assumption is that the ET thing means +40mm offset. Which is not enough.

They have a 5x100 bolt pattern in black. I don't know the offset but it says the "ET" is +40 whatever that means.

the paint job is going to be dark red on the lower half of the car, and the pillars and the roof are going to be black, (the red matches the interior) and I'm going to do some graphic design for the chrome to match. and the hood scope is going to be black too while the hood is red. and the windows are going to be tinted.

Is this going to be a show car, or is this a bet, or what?

Sounds like a lot of money for an inexpensive old car.

I hope you dont end up with what looks like a P&P special.

If you think that's harsh be glad I didn't type what I was thinking. I greatly doubt this car is going to look half way decent, just by what he's said so far.

ok, now if I wanted your opinion (as if I really care what you do think) on what you thought of them, I would have ask, please can someone give me a yes or no answer. Like I said before in my previous post, is that I don't know a whole lot about offsets, and what not. So can someone please help me?

....and thats exactly what I'm doing. What exactly did you think I was going on here? Do you think that I feel the need to get everyones approval on everything that I want to install into/on my car. Well I don't, and by the way sometimes, its better to keep your opinions to yourself, espectially when your not even posting something topic related. k thanks

I think by "research" THAWA means searching.

Did you read my post? I said that they wouldn't fit because of the offset. A 7.5" wheel should have between 47 and 50mm of positive offset. Those only have 40.
