What is the allen key lodged into the under side of my center armrest lid suposed to be for?

Really really puzzled about this one. :)

sunroof. Manually wind it when it's stuck.

Also for the automatic seatbelts. If they get stuck, you can just crank them back.

Correctamundo for the most of us --it's for the seatbelts. That sunroof isn't endangering you when something happens. The seatbelts are.

if the sunroof gets stuck open though, it could potentially damage not only cargo, but the vehicle's interior

and if the seatbelt gets stuck forward, you could be damaged yourself.

The point is, it is for both of them. There is a little cap in the middle of the headliner in the back that conceals the sunroof crank, and there is a similar plastic cap on the b-pillar trim towards the bottom that conceals the seatbelt crank spot.

I should know. I've had to use them both.

For some reason, my old passenger side seatbelt hated my brother. It would only screw up when he was in the seat.........

I keep a 5mm allen "socket" and a ratchet in the multibox.

I think it's 5mm, anyway.
