i dont get this, why would you put ej22t heads on the wrx block. i keep reading on this fourm that ej22t heads are shit.

We built it because I had sold both my Ej22T block and my Ej20G heads. We had the spare parts sitting around and thought it would be a fun build. Other folks have been using the Ej20 bottom end while they build up or rebuild their EJ22T bottom ends. And others yet have been doing it because the parts to make them can be had for cheap and then throwing them into factory NA cars like we did...

At 9:1 CR and around 10 non-intercooled psi, you've got a nice little 200hp motor for about $500-600...
