Power Wash

Post by Manarius »

How often do you power wash your engine? Do you power wash it at all? If not, why? Is there any down side to power washing your engine?

I washed mine today, and it's clean now, but it does have the CE light running for now. However, the CE light goes away after the engine dries out.

I dont. Mostly because I don't have a pressure washer, and because water gets in all sorts of places that it probably shouldn't when pressure washing

I wash mine really well about 2 times with gunk when I first get the car, and then I don't wash it much.

It's not really bad to power wash it. The engine puts out heat.....water evaporates.

Just don't use steam....that'll cause the hoses to harden up.
