CA smog test

Post by Busdriver »

Hey,

I had a shop pre test for smog, it failed, the mechanic said it only failed at idle ~750 RPMs due to high hydrocarbons, so he sent me to a test station where he knew the guy and he just held the idle RPMs at ~1000, I passed!!

Now that I'm all legal with registration, title, smog test, I would like to know if most of yours would fail too 91 N/A??

What could cause this?? It runs very smooth no missing or hesitation or anything else...

Looks like new tune up was done before I got it new plugs, wires, filters.

Any clues?

Thanks

Mine passed with everything below average I believe when it was NA. And one or two above average when I went turbo. Not much bove though.
