it would, however, be awful if you named it, say "car" or "fido" or "goldy the goldfish" or "boB" or anything like that

Most people on here have names for their car, and the beauty of it is you can name it whatever you want. It's your car

My car's named Hana, which means blossom in japanese, which relates to subaru in that the STi color is cherry blossom red. God I'm the martha stewart of car names!
