I don't suppose you could use an n/a 4.11 5MT? I am in PA also so you I figured I would let you know that I have one.
Still have the donor car with all the extras, pedal, etc.

I've heard both that they do and don't work in an SS.

I hear that the turbo 3.90 is a bit stronger than the 4.11 n/a but I don't know the details.
I have an SS here with a bad 4eat and was thinking of puting it in there but the body is kinda bad, don't know if it would be worth the trouble.

I've got one with 60k mi on it from a MY '02 WRX complete with clutch and flywheel assembly to convert the clutch...

Got it and replied. I forgot to add that the tranny crossmember can be had for another $50...

5 speed whole thing

I have a 5 speed, with driveshaft, rear diff, crossmembers, P/p, flywheel. Bepa said you may be interested, let me know, Michael. 8)
