CD Player problem....

My stock 94 Legacy cd player is doing something weird. Sometimes it won't let me insert a cd into the player. Feels sticky when putting a cd in, but will let the eject button push it out. Then sometimes it works fine. Is the player finally toast ? Can it be reset ? An electrical problem ? Something that can be fixed ? Thanks !

Go nuts with some WD-40. Ok, i'm kidding. And I have no idea since I have never even seen a Legacy radio in person.

Jus take it apart and take a look, it could just be something rubbing on its way in.
