JDM EJ20 TURBO - COOLING QUESTIONS

First of all - who ever posted that JDM Legacy/Liberty Service manual with all the relevant sections PDF'd - THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could not have swapped without it. I built the ECU into the consol, wired on the harnesses in my kitchen, took everyting outside, threaded the wires through the firewall, hooked up the 10 or so remaining wires to my old ECU plugs, turned the key and vrrroooommmm. No CELs!!

Anyway, no I have a question about the cooling system. I didn't get the fill tank so I am using a WRX one. The problem is that the diagram in the manual doesn't make much sense. Can someone describe how the flows should go?
