Bushings - need answer ASAP
Are the top bushings the same as the bottom, and if so, how do I pop out the top bushing and put in the new one?

I already got rubber bushing for the bottom from the dealershipsillyp wrote:i think you can go to autozone and get some poly bushings for the bottom. take one off and take it in. as far as the one in the sway bar - it's prolly gonna be a dealership part and you'll prolly have a hell of a time getting a new one in there.

Is there supposed to be this much play in the swaybar bushing?
That's the way it looked before I touched it

I'll be putting all the pics I have of my car in general in my thread in the Pics & Multimedia forum. Im gonna try and photodocument pretty much everything (Personal interest, helping out other members here, insurance). They should be up in the next hour or two.
FYI: It took me over an hour to do the first set of bushings, and less than 10 minutes to do the second

I didnt do the swaybar bushing, Ill do that next weekend. Im getting them from the dealership ($2.50 each)sillyp wrote:so you replaced them all? where did you end up getting the top one and was it tough to fit it in there?
I did get it out, when I was trying to find out if they were the same type, and it was a TOTAL bitch to get it back in. I ended up using WD40, which I know is a bad idea around your brakes, but nothing else would work. I even tried clamps.

I use WD40 on my lug bolts..works surprisingly well at keeping nuts from rusting to the lug.Splinter wrote:I did get it out, when I was trying to find out if they were the same type, and it was a TOTAL bitch to get it back in.
