clicking noise in left front of car

when i turn the wheel to the left and hit the gas i hear a click, click,click. i tried turning the wheel to the right and i didn't hear it. every once in a while it will do it if the wheels are straight just not as bad. any ideas :?:

CV Joint. That's a classic sound. Time to replace the half-shaft on the left side.

(Check all the boots on the front of the car to confirm this, it's going to cost about $130 if you do it correctly)

It's actually most likely the right axle that needs replacement.
