glow in the dark? aka im the biggest ricer you all know.
i went down to autozone to pick up some black primer and paint for my new din plate project and ended up getting some of this high performance glow in the dark spray on stuff. it looks like it should be pretty cool. suposed to show up major on white and not so major on other colors, goes on clear. i was thinking of doing my license plate but what other things should i consider doing seeing as doin the plate my get me in trouble. i was thinkin the wrx wheels i just put on my L but what else. come on, i need sugestions.

Use it to paint some crazy picture or writing on the side of your car. That way, it looks completely stock during the day but insane at night.

that stuff will be pretty milky because the pigment is so large.
We used to get the pigment itself raw where I used to work, really cool stuff in the dry form. incredible glow power. you could dust it on to surfaces hit with spray glue for a truly potent glow
$30 a pound even at the wholesale level, that's why that spray can only probably has an ounce in it, of the pigment itself
IIRC the supplier was USR Optonix, it is possible to con them into sending you a sample

That beer you are drinking cost more than my car
im gonna test it out on some stuff to see what it will look like, ie if it really goes on clear.

Nah, don't paint the rotors, mess up your braking, however the calipers on the other hand...
Prof, what all needs done in order to con them for a free sample? There are lots of things I could do with a high quality glow in the dark powder...

Professor, do you know anything about retro-reflective paint? I've had this idea for a while to paint my motorcycle that way, but haven't found any commercially available paint. I've thought of mixing my own with the little glass beads, but that would make the paint lumpy and I'd like something smooth.professor wrote:that stuff will be pretty milky because the pigment is so large.

I should paint my motorcycle with glow-paint. That'd be dope. Like a LightCycle from TRON!
