Tuning Greddy boost controllers

Post by John Drivesabox »

I own a 1991 Legacy SS and I recently reset my computer, and redid some wiring. Now when I turn on my Greddy Profec B Boost controller I get upwards of 17 lbs of boost, maybe more but my boost gauge only goes up to 15.

Question is, how do I go about setting this thing properly. I know the Profec A has to "learn" each engine, is the Profec B the same?
If anyone has links to other topics about general tuning of our engines, that would be very helpful as well. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

if you have the profec b spec 2 you need to read the manual. you need to set the percent (which is the boost) to where you want it. then you need to set the percent gain so it doesnt spike. then you need to set something else cant remember at the moment to make it so it will allow you to spool faster. the profec b is just a boost controler. it has nothing to do with your ecu.

You should be able to find it somewhere online.
