Where do you go to get Dyno'd?
I want to get my car Dyno'd before I start on the performance mods next summer. I have no idea what sort of place would have that, or how much it would cost.
What would i look for in the yellow pages, or would I have to find out by word of mouth?

Well there are but it sounds like they are too expensive for you. But seriously, if you are in Victoria, what you really are looking for is a dyno on the island, not a dyno in BC. Anything not on the island is going to require taking the ferry, which is where I assume the $100 expense comes in...

However, according to a fellow on another board, there are actually NO 4 wheel dyno's anywhere in BC
Doesnt sound right to me now that I come to think of it tho

Well Im gonna be coming down this summer, but I wanted to get a baseline dyno done before I started modding, so I could see exactly how far I'd come.
I was talking to a guy at Lord Co today, and apparently there are NO dynos anywhere in south vancouver island. Not even two wheelers.
They all went out of business

I've heard that Rocket Rally up at Squamish has or is about
to have a 4wd dyno.
Phoned to confirm, but no answer-- must be closed for today.
Will advise

Subtle (normally aspirated engines suck):
05 Legacy GT Wagon with Cobb chip.
62 Alfa Romeo Spider- had a 1.6 L with 80 hp, now 2 L with 160 torque. Curb weight 2050 lbs.
93 Leg Twgn fmic, vf34, etc. ((sold))

$100 for the ferry, $80+ for the dyno, $20+ for the gas to get there and back, plus a whole day.
Perhaps Ill just go on the assumption that the car is more or less sitting at 160 hp

You could take a timed run up the Malahat for the "before"
and "after"--trying for same temperature days.
The main benefit of the dyno is accurate tuning.
