Siped tires

Post by Lesbaru »

Just got new tires, and had them siped just for fun to see if it makes any difference. Anybody have siped tires? I haven't noticed anything spectacular so far.

Good all-weather tires include sipes in their treads already. I am amazed at some of the tread patterns on so-called "all season" tires.

I wouldn't try to add sipes myself. Just don't buy cheap tires, considering how much is at stake.

naaahh dont sipe em. makes em wear faster, more noise, only better snow and wet traction. more of a 4x4 thing. snow tires have em designed in.
I love to case.
