Kind of a rhetorical question, since some day I will be able to answer it.
But anyway, I couldnt stand the 3 psi and need more. So I installed the larger crank pulley but DID NOT install the AWIC. Instead I left the 2.5" piping that goes straight from the SC to the throttle body. But instead of having a blow off valve, I COMPLETELY removed it, leaving a 1/2" diameter hole in the duct work. This literally squeeks like a mouse when off boost, and roars when on boost. But I am getting a steady 5psi now, with no detonation which A) maked my motor happy and B) makes me happy.
But back to my rhetorical question, how much boost do you think I am losing with this massive hole?
Haha, and the hole makes a pretty loud noise the moment I shut the throttle as well. Back to scaring pedestrians!
How much boost do you think I am losing.

In the morning it did, but once it warmed up it runs fine.
But I traded holes, for a smaller one and boost went from 5 psi to 8 psi. No audible knock and no puffs of smoke coming out the back.
And just today I sealed it up 100% and did a single 2nd, 3rd, 4rth gear run.
10 psi barely, but I am getting some belt slippage.
And I did have a knock or two. So back to the single 1/4" diameter hole and 8 psi.
God only knows why this motor has no problems with the high boost, high compression, no intercooled setup. But I aint looking a gift horse in the mouth!
