Whats the button on the console ???

Post by adeonfire »

On my legacy 1994 twin turbo, there are 2 buttons on the console.

1 is for winter mode, which i believe locks the gearbox in 3rd gear.Any idea's what the other button is for it looks like a heated rear window switch .

You have a picture? Because as far as I know, there is no winter mode for the 4EAT...that's what the Manual Button is for (if you need it to stay in 1st)

Most of us aren't going to be real familiar with your interior. We never got most of the real high performance scoobies here in north america, until recently.

Post up a pic, I had a TT '95 Legacy while I was in Japan and might remember what it was for.

Hi - I think it's a button to heat the windscreen wipers. I think it heats a strip along bottom of windscreen where the wipers sit so they don't freeze to the screen...

The "manual" button on my 4eat starts the car moving in
second gear which reduces the torque to the wheels by
one notch. This reduces the tendency to spin the wheels
on slippery surfaces.
