SO any advice on these? Which one will I have to upgrade the injectors or I still have my 95 impreza rails so I can get the new sti injectors correct?
I just won a td05 inlet housing on ebay so I will start saving up for the wrx turbo (since the other ones from dead bolt already come with the 90degree housing but not the oilor coolant lines) as well as a port and polish and ceramic coat.
Any suggestions? Any body else sell these besides deadbolt?
Thanks guys.

ummm if you won the housing try and get a used 16g from a wrx person.
deadbolts come with coolant lines but you retain your stock oil line.
you can use your stock fuel for now until you turn the boost up for long durations.

Dan, was gonna look you up the other day when I passed through Boulder on Monday. You have the delta cams in your car correct. I stopped to see Matt Monsons garage. Wish there was other people around my town that new anything about subarus.
I wont need to change the coolant line routing since I converted my tank and everything over like a WRX.

I am also wondering about a vf 39. THat is a ball bearing turbo right? how would that be? I have already made an inlet for the td04 I am running. What could I expect as far as boost and would I need to change injectors?

I cant remember where the vf 39 is in relation to the vf30 0r 34? It is smaller thatn the vf22-23-24-28's correct?
how is yours running by nowazn2nr? what boost?
I have a line on one that would be cheaper than the td05-16G and I already have the inlet made. Is it worth it or no?

its worth it. the 16g just hits harder is all. i have the 16g now and i really like it. at the same boost the vf39 feels alot like the stock turbo as far as power deliverly is conserned because of its bearings (not ball bearings, the rollerbearing thingie that it uses) vf39 is same as vf34 save teh vf34 spools faster. id like to try the vf39 again just to see how it does with the new exhaust as i ran it on stock exhaust before. too bad i sold it with the entire kit i made for it.
if your set up for it than use it if youd like. its a but load better than stock thats for sure

It is th eturbo that comes stock on the STi correct? Would that be capable of 200+hp at the wheels on my 22t? with stock injectors? I would surely get it pnp'd as well as coated. Plus supporting mods pnp-heads, Perfect poewr, 3" catless TBE, walbro, wrx intercooler?

you dont really need any of that. just an fcd. but if you want to be safe at least get the intercooler. exhaust is also a good investment. but all that other stuff is quiet unnessary. unless of course you want to be safe. but who wants that.

no that is what I have done already. I also dont need a fcd since I am running a NA ecu with the perfect power to compensate for the turbo. What I was asking is if I could get 200hp+at the wheels and If I would have to replace the injectors?

Ok going back sorry.
I have a 95 impreza. I swapped in a ej22t, and modded it semi thouroughly when I dropped it in. I spoke to the guys at rallitek and they assured me that I did not have to swap harnesses, that my stock obd I impreza 1.8 ecu with their Perfect Power would run the thing really well. Now I slightly regret this decision(story later) So to the present:
I blew a headgasket, I think. However it could have been a coolant seal on the turbo. any rate the right head is warped, So I am getting the heads milled and done over (3angle VJ PnP) and threw in new cams while I am at it. While I have the car apart I figured I would get a new turbo incase it is leaking. Have a few possibilities that I am trying to consider.
Sorry about the confusion.

I made more than 200whp with a 16g at 16psi.
In fact, I make even more power than that now. But I haven't been back to the dyno since changing my setup. I'm probably pushing closer to 230whp and 265lb-ft, due to increases in setup efficiency.

i want 600whp!!!!!!!
but realistically, I want something that will perform on par or better than an STi. It should be a little easier since my weight is somuch less. I think 220whp and some good lowend torque would be fan-friggin-tastic!

It's been covered many a time. I don't have the time right now to write it again, but search around a little and you'll surely find the information you want.

Found some of it in the "damn it adds up thread," I am just gonna assume that you have the 16G cause that isnt listed. Stock injectors too?BAC5.2 wrote:It's been covered many a time.
