CEL on when warmed up or at low idle

Post by ars14 »

Hey all, what could be the cause for the CEL to be off when just starting out, but turns on after about 3-5 minutes, or when the idle falls below 1k. Tired to retrieve the code, but nothing shows up. Also when I connected the green ECU plug, and turned to ON, the radiator fan cycled on and off, and it sounded like some relay about the fuse box was clicking on and off with the fan

Thanks

I had the same issue, for about an hour, connected the black test relays to get the code and never got it back again

Just looked on the sticky at the top and found the answer. I am in Atlanta so I have to get that light off, is it the canister begin full, or the solenoid malfuntioning

Thx

The solenoid is the issue typically, not the canister.
