boost gauge hookup

Post by ericS2the6 »

I searched and i must admit i found a good amount of info. A lot of different terms and phrases that really dont mean a thing to a mechanically inclined person like my self here.

so...

if someone could post a photo showing the exact line that is best to tap into for a boost gauge, i would greatly appreciate it.

I also searched on legacycentral and although there are a few pics, none that show exactly where to put the line.

I have done all other research and just need this little bit of info and i'll be on my way!

thanks!! :)

On the intake manifold on the passenger's side, you'll see a little hose coming from it. Tap your gauge on that line and you'll be fine!

I circled the tee for the boost gauge on this picture of Morgie's engine bay. It's probably the best place to tap for a manifold pressure gauge:

(I hope you don't mind, Morgie!)
