carburated 2.2L legacy engine?

Post by stant093 »

i have a friend of mine, who is starting to get into legacys (Im influencing him more and more everyday ;) )
He was pondering some intake ideas....(hes an extremely talented aluminum welder) and asked me about a possible 4 mikuni carburated intake instead of fule injecting a 2.2L.....seems far fetched to me but i have an extra intake for him to mess with...i need some knowledge or maybe someone who has in the past carburated their legacy or have heard of anything about it being done...
Thanks
Sam

Maybe have a look at what the guys who uses 2.2l engines for their airplanes have done ... i've seen that they customise / custom-build intakes, probably someone have already done that carburetor swap :)
