sticky at shifter
I have a 95 leg. L sedan with auto tranny in it. In the morning when I go to work the shifter freezes if it is cold out and it takes some convincing and pressure to make the button go in. But once I get that button in for the first time, it's fine. And it only does it when its cold out. Any thoughts? Thanks

Lubricate the linkage? Maybe you just need to lubricate the litte button...

Why does the thread title say "MT shifter?"
There's probably sticky goo from soda or something in there. Maybe you should remove it from the car, disassemble as much as is practical, and clean with electronic parts cleaner or isopropanol or something.
