Just looking through google images and I came across this odd little thing

I can only find pics of it with european plates, but there seems to be a current model.

"In Europe, Suzuki Motors built the Justy for Subaru at its Hungarian plant. It was merely a rebadged Suzuki Swift. In 2004, the Justy name continued in European markets on a rebadged Suzuki Ignis"

I think the big question with the suzuki/subaru relationship is, will the swift 1.6 16v bolt into a justy? Ive heard a lot of talk but not seen anything. :-D

You guys ever read the British magazine "Car"? Their review of this version of the Subaru Justy went something like this:

The very worst car for sale in Britain today. Old, expensive, crappy. We'd rather walk than drive this car.

thats a bit of a shoehorn, and frankly I dont know if youd be able to even adapter a flat four to a transverse fwd trans. so anyone know if the suzuki 16v bolts into a 4x4 justy? a tiny 4x4 car with some power just really appeals to me.

How about picking up and rebuilding one of the 1.0L 3cyl turbo motors from a canadian Firefly Turbo
I think they made about 78hp/85tq something like that anyway. That would make you the smallest ugliest WRX ever - a turbo justy

it would be neat as hell though. Generally though the 1.6 DOHC from the swift GTi is the best motor for that platform. If I recall correctly they had about 115hp and similar torque.

Oh man

Talk about weird.

I was walking through the parking lot back to my car after class today, and I walked past a little grey/silver Justy.

wtf? I guess they are USDM.

Yes, justys are also usdm. They came with pushbutton 4wd on top of the long-ass shift lever.

I had to take these pics with no flash so I didn't get glare off the brochures, but here is the 1987 USDM Justy:
Image

And here is the facelifted 89 Justy. It kept this same design through 1994 when it was killed:

I bought a 93 Justy from a police auction for $125.00 all it needed was a clutch but it ran great. IT was FWD only.

Didn't Suzuki also make the Geo metro for a period of time? The car in the picture looks alot like a metro.
