I had a constant check engine light when the fuel level went really low, and I was able to clear it by disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes. Is this a common problem with this years legacy?
Also, can I read codes using the black and/or green connectors? or do I need to get the computer scanned with OBD2?
Thanks,
SBiddle

This forum is more for the first-generation of Legacies (years 1990-1994). These are the chassis codes BC-BF. Your 95 Legacy wagon is a generation ahead of us, your chassis code being BG.
This being the case, you have the OBD2 diagnostic system, which requires a scantool to retrieve codes.
You would probably be more successful in the Legacy forum of NASIOC (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdi ... forumid=13) or you can also try the UltimateSubaru.net forums (http://pub110.ezboard.com/bultimatesubarumessageboards)
Good luck with the car...
