Natoe you wont want to use it. I started to on mine then I switched to using the legacy one with my impreza ecu. the legacy one seems to read a much broader range. What would be an upgrade from the legacy turbo as far as a MAF sensor goes. I wanna see if that would fix some of my super rich condition, not to mention I am getting really close to 5 volts already on only like 7-8psi and I wanna do 15.

Than my 95 impreza1.8L maf sensor?????? That thing was maxed out most of the time and my car ran like crap, which was weird because it matched the ecu, my legacy one is a hitachi or whatever and the pins dont match up.

Yep. A smaller range.
The connectors are the same. It's just that two of the pins are more or less redundant (they're both grounds), and one of the pins is only used by Hitachi sensors (to inform the ECU that they're Hitachi), so some pins may be missing on either side of the connector depending on the sensor and on the car.

Dang. So what would be the best upgrade if I wanna run 15 Psi or later 18 when I get a new turbo? what car does it come off. or a part number.

Well, in brief -- The computer needs to know what's going on in the engine. It uses sensors to do that. When you put the wrong sensor in, it misreads what's happening and does the wrong thing.
It's a system.
It's a system.

Ok I understand it is a system. I am using an EJ22t with an impreza 1.8 ecu and Rallitek perfect power smt6. The reason I was wondering if there is an Upgrade or Bigger MAF is because my computer is thinking it is supplying 180cc injectors, yet I have 370. Down low it is rich city. so if the MAF were calibrated different (in my thinking anyway) It would send a lower voltage reading to the ecu, which would send less fuel to the injectors. I deserately need to lean out the bottom and not just with the perfect power (taht is a story I dont want to get into right now) so then this (my "ideal") Bigger MAF would also read the more air coming in when I had the throttle wide open throttle which would richen my top end giving me more power and a better margin of safety for my motor. Does that make sense or am I am idiot?

Oh. So you're using a Perfect Power to manipulate all the stuff... You probably want to ask Sean or someone else at Rallitek this question. They can tell you what will match your engine management.
