I couldn't find the answer by searching. Is the stock '05 wrx tmic the same size as the '02-'04's?

Is there any difference in the constructions of them? Less fins? Better or worse flow? Increased risk of pressure drop?

has anyone tried the stock 06 TMIC? IT looked to me like it might fit without cutting!

well i remember reading a thread on here earlier this year that said that legacy turbo owners will be happy because the 06 intercooler fits better... AND that its not as good? so 06 owners will be ditching them fast...= better for us

i think they will fit better. They have a plastic endtank which i thought wasn't go but i have heard people saying that was a better design. I know the 900 IC w/ plastic endtanks isn't as good as the all metal early ones but i am not sure if that holds try with the WRX.
